Digging dirt, literally!
This is my first time to write my own blog. I’ve always been a reader and not much of a writer. I just think it’s about time to try my hand on this and explore my not-so-writer side… =D
I’ll go ahead and write about … Gardening… do I hear boos?
Haha! First time writing my blog, and it doesn’t sound like me already =D
I guess that’s the beauty of my blog:
!WYSIWYG!!! - What You See Is What You Get, NOT!!!
I have to thank Lotski (one of my closest friends from college) for enthusiastically recruiting us (Da and myself) to gardening. She introduced this kind of therapy when we were both visiting Da one summer weekend in her New Jersey home to kind of cheer her up. Why she needs cheering up is another whole new chapter, or should I say novel. Anyways, she’s fine now and that’s partly because of gardening too. Diba, Da?
Anyways, when Lostki mentioned that we are going to do gardening to try to cheer up Da, I was like, are we seriously doing this?!?! I never liked soil and dirt… moreso digging my hands on them… but being my obliging self, I did not complain. I am in so much awe on how Lot and Dan are such an expert with gardening… they instructed us what to do (while I was wearing my girly sandals, btw). I should say that it wasn’t that hard and the dirt digging wasn’t so bad either as long as I’m wearing gloves… we de-weeded, dug, planted, weed-blocked, mulched, and ADMIRED!!! What can I say, it was so therapeutic! Lotski was so right! All the hard work was so worth it…
Here’s what I got myself into… I’m still new to this, so please be easy on me.
Shoutout to ynseng, “here you go, may blog na ko!” =D
